Treasury Workstation Implementation Specialist
Chesapeake System Solutions is seeking an experienced Implementation Specialist to implement our treasury workstation software.

The successful candidate will be expected to assume a lead role in helping to align and integrate the defined strategies and delivery plans for a successful implementation of our software at global client sites. The role requires a significant amount of involvement in driving deliverable dates; communicating with senior level management, IT staff, and end users; and providing training. Key responsibilities will also encompass defining new operational processes and standards supporting ongoing delivery and promoting sales related initiatives.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with the client to create and administer the implementation project plan.
  • Coordinate resources across multiple functional areas.
  • Manage relationships with the client's project team
  • Answer client questions related to the treasury software and market best practices related to cash forecasting and positioning, data collection, pooling, bank account management, and other treasury-related topics.
  • Demonstrate the software.
  • Establish communications framework that delivers consistent status updates to project members.
  • Work closely with client and IT staff to oversee technical interface.
  • Lead and assist in system configuration and testing.
  • Provide training to the client’s staff on functionality of the software.
  • Transition support responsibility to Customer Service Team
Qualifications:
 
  • Minimum of five years of treasury experience
  • Experience with software implementation
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or finance
  • Availability to travel both domestically and internationally
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior level management and user base
  • Superior time management skills and adept at managing multiple projects
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a global team as needed
  • Entrepreneurial approach to multi-faceted projects

Software Application Support Specialist
Chesapeake System Solutions, Inc., is seeking a Software Application Support Specialist for our Owings Mills, MD office.

Chesapeake’s hosted network services include data collection and process monitoring on behalf of our customers, as well as building and maintaining macros designed to automate the data collection process for our customers. Our Network Operations team is searching for an ambitious candidate to fill this entry level position which offers the candidate potential for growth opportunities in our network operations and application support areas.

We are looking for an individual who works well in a team setting, has a technical background including post high school education or two years of experience in the computer technology field, and has demonstrated abilities in these areas:

  • Understanding of the World Wide Web and use of the internet as a method of data delivery
  • Understands data collection efforts and the methods available to deliver/receive data over the internet
  • Understands the importance of data security, data integrity and timely retrieval
  • Is a strong communicator and can manage communications with our customers and internal departments
  • Training in the computer/network technology field is highly desirable.

Initial responsibilities will include:

  • Creating custom data collection scripts and organizing batched processing
  • Creating workflow and data management standards and documentation
  • Monitoring the daily data collection processes

Treasury Management Software Developer
Global Treasury Systems, LLC--a subsidiary of Chesapeake System Solutions, Inc.--is based in Birmingham, Alabama, with offices located in Maryland and throughout the United States and Canada. Our flagship product, SmartTreasury®, delivers complete control over a company’s treasury operations.

Global Treasury Systems, LLC, is expanding our staff and accepting resumes for developers with solid experience in Delphi and ASP.net and a desire to move into the next generation of server development tools and client-side frameworks.

We are looking for developers with a hands-on knowledge of:

  • 3+ years of experience in Delphi required.
  • 2+ years of experience with an enterprise dbms, such as MSSQL or Oracle.
  • 2+ years of ASP, ASP.net programming.
  • Ability and willingness to thoroughly test and debug your own code, as well as existing code in the SmartTreasury system.
  • Basic OO design skills for both Delphi, and Csharp. Willingness to move into more functionally oriented programming in the future.
  • Willingness to work with CSS, vbscript, and especially javascript.
  • Good algorithmic skills and understanding of MVC development.
  • Experience with UI design, web services, custom server backends, load balancing, db tuning, http, tcp and crypto a plus.
  • Comfortable with daily work multitasking, working from informal specifications, and lots of people with a well-developed sense of humor.
  • Comfortable with version control and bug tracking software.
  • Willingness to work client support issues, occasionally stretching into weekends.
  • Experience with financial software a major plus.
